When it comes to helping others we like to think it’s something we’re particularly good at. However, it’s not just our patients that we’re interested in working with, but a number of charities too.
Our owners Luke and Kathryn Baker have a nephew with cystic fibrosis, so we’re always looking for great ways to raise money for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust – a charity that funds research into the disease and provides information and support for patients and their families.
On a number of occasions the staff at our practice have pushed themselves to the limits and taken part in various types of fundraisers. Most recently Kathryn completed the Great North Swim and raised roughly £2500 for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust. She was required to swim one mile in the free waters of Lake Windermere and we were all extremely proud of her achievement.
Kathryn already has her next adventure in the pipeline and continues to offer unrivaled support to The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
